With the various festivals in Muskegon each year, there will be something to pique everyone’s interest. All of these events are within walking or boating distance from our slips!
May
- Blessing of the Boats: Gather on Muskegon Lake to participate in a boat parade, witness the ceremonial washing of the lighthouse, and receive a blessing.
June
- Powerboat Weekend on Muskegon Lake: Hosted by Lake Effect Boating, boat parades and poker runs will take place on the water!
- Taste of Muskegon: Try samplings of Muskegon’s culinary gems at Hackley Park.
- Ride United: Bicyclists can choose from a 6, 25, 50, or 100 mile routes starting in Downtown Muskegon and utilizing the Lakeshore Bike Trail.
- Summer Sailstace: Take a cruise on Muskegon Lake to celebrate the longest day of the year.
- Seaway Run: Starting in Downtown Muskegon, runners and walkers can participate in a community walk, 5k, 10k, or half marathon! Registration required.
July
- RockStock: Enjoy this rock music festival at Heritage Landing over 4th of July weekend.
- Pack the Pier: How many boats will fit in the breakwater cove?
- Lakeshore Art Festival: This festival saturates Downtown Muskegon with art, food, and entertainment
- Rebel Road: Motorcycle owners, enthusiasts, admirers and abiders will not want to miss this event in Downtown Muskegon
August
- Unity Christian Music Festival: This annual music festival is full of Christian music and fun.
- Water Week: A full week to appreciating our water wonderland! Celebrate with a raft-up, boat parade, community paddle, and more!
- Burning Foot Beer Festival: Hot sand and cold beer on Pere Marquette Beach makes this festival perfect for August in Muskegon.
- Polish Festival: Located at Hackley Park, this annual culture festival is relatively new, but full of food, music and entertainment.
- Alexander Zonjik’s Shoreline Jazz Festival: Also relatively new, this music festival is growing in popularity each year.
September
- Michigan Irish Music Festival: This festival is bursting with culture, music, beer and food. Don’t miss out!
- Muskegon County Latino Festival: Deputing in 2019, this culture festival celebrates people, culture and Latino heritage.
